What Parents Say?

open-teacher

We could not be happier with our experience so far. The school places the children at its center, and is led by their interests and needs, whilst managing to be academically rigorous and nurturing at the same time.

I am very passionate about building strong core skills in kindergarten and want students to have the support and resources they need to be heroes. I love seeing the tremendous progress made by students in these early years!

We strive to hire the best-trained staff and require continuing education to ensure all our staff keeps pace with the highest local and national educational standards for child care professionals. We offer a multi-cultural staff with all Lead Teachers having either a bachelors or masters degree in one or two of the following areas of study: Early Childcare, Special Education and Elementary Education.

Our teachers have been credentialed through OSSE and NAEYC and must be drug tested, fingerprinted and pass an FBI background check before they can be hired.  In addition to continuing education, we have mandatory staff development trainings throughout the year, and all staff must maintain certification in CPR and First Aid.

At LCCDC, families and teachers work together and communicate daily about your child’s successes and the best way to navigate any challenges that may arise.  Our teaching staff is committed to giving each child the unconditional attention needed to guarantee a positive learning experience.

Love and Care Child Development Center has been serving District of Columbia families since 1999. We care for children 6 weeks to 4 years old.
